Sparring Flamingos at Lincoln Park Zoo

We spent an hour or so at the

Lincoln Park Zoo last week. 

The flamingo's are beautiful, these few were sparring.

They made the oddest of noises, their feathers were getting 

ruffled and they were pecking at each other.

Nature, Damaged by Mother Nature

Damage to the many trees in AL, after the many tornadoes in April.

I love how the trees create a tunnel over the small road.

Never Forget

I have been waiting all week to take this picture. 

Today is the first day we had any wind to make the flag fly. 

Where the stars are, they also have the New York Sky line, not sure if you can see that. 

I have not seen this flag in any store, but would love to go and buy on to fly at our house.
