Precious Lily

I apologize for not being able to post anything lately. I took some time off to visit my Mom out of state. While I was away, I did take some photo's and will begin to share those with you. This precious lily is in our garden in the front of our house. We have 3 different Lily's planted here and this is the only one that has bloomed so far this year.

Water Falls

It has been a rough few days, so I bring you another shot from my archives. This was taken from my Iphone at Ruby Falls, with all the lights out. My regular camera could not get a picture of anything. I was so happy that the Iphone captured it.

The Beauty of Night

Photo taken from my archives. This was shot in Salem, MA behind the The House of Seven Gables. My visit was in June of 2011, we did a quick night tour of Salem and this was captured via my Iphone. Neither my aunt, nor my cousin were able to capture this photo with a regular camera. Sometimes, I am very thankful for newer technology.

Full Moon

The last two night we have had what seems to be a full, but hazy moon. I love taking photo's of the moon to see what will show up in the photo.

A Rose by Any Other Name, is Just a Rose

This lovely rose was from a bush that was originally a light yellow. We planted a miniature red rose bush in front of it and now we have multi colored roses. They start with very little pink on the edges, by the time it completely opens the leaves will have a much deeper pink color.

Welcome

Welcome to Life Through The Eye of my Camera. This blog is part of the 365 Project, a picture for every day. My goal is of course to post a picture that I take for each of the 365 days that follow. I hope you enjoy my journey through pictures.

A special thanks to my friend Gini for the inspiration to start this blog.
